A downloadable reference

This one-page reference sheet should aid new players in creating characters and exploring the hexcrawl during their first few game sessions.

Update 06/01/26: I have created a Character Sheet intended for the first few sessions of a Wolves Upon the Coast campaign. In my case, I'll be running this game at the Between 2 Cons convention this month, so I wanted a character sheet that combined the most commonly needed rules reminders with a clean write-on layout. The reverse side has the weapons, armor, languages, and other items lists for easy character building.

Update 01/27/26: I have added a third page to the reference! In my open-table game this year, foraging became a sticking point. So I made a chart with foraging chances for all the warding ingredients that can be foraged. I have added this to the Spells/Wards/Languages/Lands sheet and separated them from the Rules Summary.

For a house rule about languages and wards, check out Folk Wisdom & Forbidden Truths.

This is super useful! Would you be willing to share the source document for this? I'd love to be able to edit it to include some of my house rules

Hey, good idea! I'm not sure how I should do this, given I laid it out in Google Docs. But I'll try some stuff and see what makes sense

Incredible, essential resource for streamlining your wolves play, especially if you're adapting the rules for your own regions and hexcrawls. Lets you see the flavours of the lands at a glance! Just get it!
